Sacramento Rotary is putting on the Sacramento Century Bike Ride to raise money for the Crisis Nursery. On September 30th at about 5:00 AM about 1500 Cyclists will start arriving on Capitol Mall to ride through the Delta on behalf of the Cause. Others will be swimming, hiking, climbing, paddling, golfing, or who-knows-what!
Last year we raised about $135,000 for the Crisis Nursery, and I think things are lining up to improve this year. I have created a multi-faceted Tri that includes Kayaking, Swimming, and Strumming. The Strumming part is with the Rotary Roadies – we will be playing on Capitol Mall on September 30th around 12:00.
